How to change the cabin air filter on your Lexus GX470; the filter is located behind the glove compartment and is secured by a small elastic clip on the left side, which you can loosen with a small screwdriver. Once removed, the glove compartment, made of relatively soft material, comes out easily by pushing it slightly. Behind it, you will see a small tray with two clips on the sides that you just need to squeeze to open, where you will find the cabin air filter. Clean the area with a blast of compressed air and replace it with the new one, paying attention to the direction of the arrows. Reinstall the cover, then the glove compartment, ensuring the small elastic clip is in place, and the job is done.
