How to Reset the Service Light on Lincoln MKS

In this video tutorial, you will see how to turn off the service light on Lincoln MKS. The first step is to change the engine oil and filters. After completing the DIY service, get in the vehicle, engage the parking brake, insert the ignition key, and turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine; on the display, you will see the message "Oil change required". Then, press the OK button on the left side of the steering wheel to access the USER SETTINGS MENU. Now press the down arrow button to scroll through the MENU and select "Settings", then press the right arrow button. Next, select "Vehicle settings", press the right arrow button, select "Vehicle", and press the right button again to reach the "Oil life reset" option. Press the right button and select "Set to 100", then press OK to confirm. Reset completed.
