Part: Engine oil
Operation: How to change the Lincoln MKC engine oil and relative filter

The guide shows how to replace the engine oil and relative filter on the Lincoln MKC. The first operation to carry out is to open the cap of the engine oil tank and lift the vehicle. Remove the eight T30 Torx screws holding the motor shield in place. At this point, with a 15 mm wrench, unscrew the oil pan drain bolt and drain the fluid into a suitable disposal container. At this point, unscrew the old oil filter cartridge and drain the remaining oil; check if the filter gasket is still attached to the engine and remove it. Grease the gasket on the new filter and put it back in place. Clean the oil residues and close the protective panel. Once the vehicle has been lowered, top up the tank with the correct amount of engine oil. Turn on the ignition and reset the oil change light from the service menu. Start the engine and run it to circulate the new lubricant.
