Replacing a Brake Light on a Lincoln MKX

How to replace the brake light bulb in the rear headlamp of a Lincoln MKX by yourself. The replacement bulb costs $7.50 on major e-commerce platforms (+ $2.70 for shipping). To remove the headlamp cover, take out the two screws located on the sides of the headlamp with a 5/16-inch wrench (approximately 13 mm). Once these two screws are removed, simply pull the headlamp out towards you. Remove the faulty bulb and replace it. Be careful not to touch the new bulb with bare hands, or it won’t provide the white light for which you bought it. At this point, just reposition the headlamp and secure the two screws again. Job done.
