Start the engine for a few minutes to warm the circulating oil, making it less viscous. Unscrew the bolt that acts as a plug for the drain hole located under the sump, and collect the used oil in a container. If it's also time to replace the oil filter, use a strap wrench to unscrew and remove it, and remember to lubricate the new filter before fitting. Measure the amount of drained oil and refill the same amount through the filler hole. Another trick to aid the oil flow is to unscrew the filler cap immediately to allow air to pass through the system.
