To replace the gas springs on the rear hatch of a Maruti A-Star, open the hatch to access the internal components. Here, you can access the gas springs, which can be removed by unscrewing the bolts that secure them at the top and bottom.

Once these bolts are removed, slide the old springs out from the inside of the hatch and insert the new replacement parts. Secure them with screws, ensuring the hatch opens and closes properly.
