Operation: How to reset the Maruti Alto ECU

The control unit is one of the most important components among those present inside your car. In case of errors or malfunctions it is possible to solve them with a simple reset. This operation cannot be carried out through the on-board menu, but it is necessary to intervene manually. First make sure the car is completely shut down and parked safely on a level surface. Then lift the front hood and locate the control unit (ECU) on the right side of the engine compartment. Unhook the safety pins, remove the ECU and reposition it correctly after waiting a few seconds to complete the reset.
