To thoroughly clean the engine bay of a Maruti Swift, first remove the plastic cover protecting the engine. You will need an 8mm socket wrench to remove the four bolts located on the top of the cover.

Once removed, take off the cover and, using a slightly damp cloth, proceed to clean the external parts of the engine. It is advisable not to perform this task if the engine is still hot. After cleaning, reposition the cover and secure it with the four bolts.
