Replacement of the air filter of the Mazda 2

By periodically replacing the air filter of the Mazda 2, you achieve optimal engine performance and keep fuel consumption under control. To change it, open the hood, you will find the filter box just before the battery, release the metal clips at its base, use a screwdriver to loosen the clamp on the tube to its left and remove it. Remove the cover in order to remove the old filtering element, replace it with a new filter, put the cover back in place, secure it with the two clips, reconnect the tube and secure it with its clamp.
