Replacing the Cabin Filters

Model: Mazda Rx 8 MK 1 - Years 2003-2012

The cabin filters purify the air inside the vehicle and are located under the glove compartment on the passenger side. Obtain cabin filters of the same model identical to the originals. To access the removal, you need to detach the glove compartment door on the passenger side. After removing the filter cover by pulling it outward, carefully remove the filters by pulling them out to avoid dispersing dust inside the cabin. To collect any dirt, place a cloth on the floor. Clean the inside of the filter area thoroughly with a vacuum cleaner equipped with a filter, then carefully reinsert the new filters into their housing and close the cover.
