To replace the external rear view mirror on the Mazda CX-3, you need to remove the inner door panel by disconnecting the electrical connectors (for the speakers, window lifters, etc.). Once the panel is removed, you will see the screws (usually 3) that secure the mirror to the bodywork. Locate the connector for the electric adjustment, and any heating and courtesy light. With the help of another person to support the mirror from the outside, unscrew the nuts and remove the mirror assembly. Position it and tighten the bolts, reconnect the connector, and before refitting the panel, test the mirror's operation.
