Block the wheels, loosen the nuts, and lift the car only from the correct lifting point, then use a safety stand.

When remounting the wheel, tighten the nuts in a criss-cross pattern evenly. Take this opportunity to check the pressure of all the tyres, inspect them for damage, and after driving a few miles, recheck the tightening of the nuts.
