Today's guide will show you how to perform routine maintenance by changing the engine oil and oil filter in the Mazda CX-3 2.0L. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing the lower plastic engine cover, unscrewing the screws to access the oil sump; unscrew the drain bolt, allowing the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes, as shown in the video. Next, unscrew the oil filter cartridge, replacing it with a new original one; screw the oil filter by hand, tightening gently with a spanner, and finally top up with new engine oil!
