Procedure to Replace the Oil Filter on a Mazda CX-5

In this video tutorial, you will see the procedure to replace the engine oil on a Mazda CX-5, following some simple steps: The first thing to do is to get into the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake. Lift the car using a hydraulic jack and place safety stands; using a screwdriver, remove the panel under the engine. Once the panel is removed, you will have access to the oil filter and the oil drain plug. Position a container to collect the used oil under the oil drain plug. Undo the drain plug using a Torx T50 spanner. While waiting for all the oil to drain, unscrew the oil filter using a strap wrench; once the oil filter is removed, replace the old filter with a new one and also change the gasket, lubricating it with new oil. Screw in the oil drain plug and the new oil filter (without overtightening). Using a funnel, top up with new engine oil (SAE 0W-20); keep an eye on the oil level using the dipstick.
