How to Access the Diagnostic Menu of the Mazda 3 MKIV

Here’s how to access the diagnostic menu of the Mazda 3 MKIV (the procedure is identical for the III generation, albeit with physical buttons). Turn on the ignition and on the central console, near the screen, find the 'volume', 'music', and 'preset' buttons. Follow a sequence of presses (as shown in the video). Press and hold the 'volume' button and while holding it, also press the 'music' and 'preset' buttons. Keep all three pressed for 2-3 seconds. A diagnostic menu will appear on the infotainment screen with various options: (inspections, sensor tests, system status, etc.). You can navigate using the physical buttons or the touch screen. This is a consultation menu: do not modify the settings, as it is intended for technicians and can alter the system if used improperly.
