Replacement of Remote Key Battery

Model: Mazda Cx 7 MK 1 - Years 2006-2012

To replace the battery in the remote key, first separate the part with the metal key (colloquially called the "blade") from the remote itself. Then open the blade to access the slot for the blade: inside the slot, there is a tab that must be pressed to release the remote. At this point, lever between the two halves of the remote to open it: one half contains the electronic circuit and the other the battery compartment. Then insert the battery (model CR 1620) respecting the polarity direction and close the remote halves to reattach it to the blade.
