To replace the battery of the remote control key, first of all, separate the part with the metal key (called "blade" in jargon) from the remote control itself. Then open the blade so as to be able to access the slot housing the blade itself: inside the slot there is a tab that must be pressed in order to release the remote control. At this point, pry between the two remote control shells to open it: one shell contains the electronic circuit and the other the battery seat. Then insert the battery (model CR 1620) respecting the polarity direction and close the remote control shells to hook it back to the blade.
