Here are the instructions to disassemble and replace the battery in the remote key of the Mazda CX-7. First, take your remote and start prying open the side slot with a thin, pointed tool, removing the electronic board to access the battery compartment; take out the battery found inside, as shown in the video.

Now install the new battery, the correct type (in this case, a CR 1620); insert it the right way round and reassemble the remote, checking its functionality!
