Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Mazda Mpv LW - Years 1999-2006
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, behind the glove compartment door: open the door, press the sides to retract the end-stop pins, and disengage the lower hinges to remove it. At this point, the cap of the filter container is located at the top of the air duct: remove it to extract the old filters; insert the new ones respecting the airflow direction, reattach the cap and the glove compartment door, first engaging the lower hinges and then repositioning the end-stop pins.
