How to Remove the Steering Wheel and Airbag from the Mazda CX-5 MK1

In this tutorial, you will learn how to remove the steering wheel and its airbag from the first series Mazda CX-5 in simple and quick steps. First, get inside the vehicle and start by disconnecting the airbag mechanism on the back of the steering wheel by pressing on the holes; then disconnect the electrical connector to remove the airbag. Next, use a socket wrench with an extension to undo the central bolt of the steering wheel to remove it; finally, position the new steering wheel straight, and then refit the airbag!
