To start extracting and replacing the key battery on the Mazda CX-5, begin by removing the manual spare key (to be used when you need to open the car and the battery is flat) from the casing. Now use a small flat screwdriver to pry in the seam of the remote control and split it into two parts. Here is the battery! At this point, simply extract it from its housing, prying underneath with the small screwdriver, and proceed in reverse until fully reassembled. This is a very simple operation and within everyone's reach.
