Operation: How do you replace the Mazda 2 gear knob?

The replacement of the Mazda 2 gear knob is carried out by lifting the leather boot that surrounds the entire gear lever and is placed immediately under the knob. By lifting this cap, it will be possible to detach the hook that connects it to the knob: in this way, it will be possible to unscrew the knob from the final part of the lever by turning it counterclockwise. Once the old knob has been removed, it will be possible to insert the new one by screwing it into the lever and connecting it to the headset using the special hook. Finally, the headset can also be fitted into its housing at the base of the gearbox.
