In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the air filter in a Mazda CX-5 by following these simple steps: First, purchase a new quality air filter from an authorised dealer. Next, get into the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Once you locate the air filter box, unclip the tabs, lift the air filter cover, and remove the old filter element. If the housing and cover are dirty, clean them using a vacuum cleaner (Cover the air duct parts with a cloth to prevent dirt from entering the system). Position the new filter element and secure the filter cover.
