Replacement of Engine Air Filter

Model: Mazda Cx 7 MK 1 - Years 2006-2012
Part: Air filter

Replacing the engine air filter is very simple: once the front bonnet is opened, the filter housing (air box) is located at the front right of the engine compartment (when facing forward). Disconnect the mass air flow sensor connector (MAF), the corresponding hose, and unclip the clips securing the cover of the housing. Then, remove the old filter, ensuring no dirt falls into the intake duct, and insert the new filter, making sure the seals adhere correctly to the edges. Reposition the cover, close the clips, and reconnect the hose and MAF connector.
