How to Replace the Key Battery on Mazda CX-9

In this video, you can see how to replace the battery in the Mazda CX-9 key fob. The materials needed for the replacement are: a CR 2032 battery and a flathead screwdriver. If you look closely at the remote, you will see a small switch that you need to slide to the right with the tip of the screwdriver; at this point, the remote shell will open in two halves. In one part of the shell, you will see the metal key. Now flip the key over and you will see two silver positions, then using the tip of the screwdriver, pry off the top part of the key; now tilt the key and you will see a slot where you need to insert the tip of the screwdriver to leverage it. Once the cover is open, you will see a cover with an arrow; in this area, you will find the battery. Remove the non-working battery and replace it with a new one.
