Removal and Reinstallation of Brake Discs

To remove the front brake discs, start by lifting the vehicle on appropriate car stands. Remove the wheel and use a lever between the disc and the caliper to slightly retract the caliper piston.

Continue by removing the caliper mounting bolts, securing the caliper to the shock absorber spring with a tie wrap, then slide out the brake pads and remove the caliper bracket. At this point, unscrew the bolts securing the disc to the hub to remove it. Clean the disc seat on the hub with a metal brush, apply grease, and proceed in reverse for reinstallation.
