Replacing the Rear Seat

Model: Mazda Cx 7 MK 1 - Years 2006-2012

First, locate the position of the springs beneath the seats that secure the seats in place. Insert a sturdy screwdriver under the seat, in line with the springs, and lever to disengage the seat. Once the seat is disengaged, you can remove it for cleaning or to replace it with a new one. In the case of replacement, position the seat correctly, remembering to move the seatbelt locks above the seat and align the U-shaped brackets with the springs. Once positioned, simply push down over the springs until you hear the click of engagement. The car is a Mazda CX-7.
