To replace the timing belt on a Mazda Bongo, open the hood to access the left side of the engine block. Here, you will find the belt routed around the appropriate pulleys. By loosening the central nuts of the pulleys, especially the one on the tensioner pulley, you can remove the belt from its housing and insert the new replacement part. After installation, tighten the central nuts of the pulleys to increase the tension on the belt.
