How to Update the Onboard Computer of the Mazda 3

Updating the software of the onboard computer in the Mazda 3 is necessary to continue using all the functions provided by the device. The installation of the update will take between 30 and 45 minutes. Start by inserting the memory card or USB stick containing the updated software version into the input port, then press the mute, favourites, and music menu buttons simultaneously for three seconds. A screen will appear on the onboard computer where you will need to enter the code 99. From that screen, you will be redirected to the settings menu to install the update, then press "SEARCH", "INSTALL PACKAGE", and "INSTALL". After that, keep the door open for 20 minutes and press the brake pedal once. When the vehicle has completed the installation, turn off the ignition and then restart it to check that the update has been successful.
