Instructions for Replacing Drop Links

Model: Mazda Cx 7 MK 1 - Years 2006-2012

If you hear a noise similar to a knocking coming from the front wheel, especially when driving on uneven surfaces, it is likely that a drop link (also known as a track rod) connecting the anti-roll bar to the suspension arm has been damaged. Replacing this drop link is straightforward and does not require special tools. Once you have lifted the vehicle and removed the front wheel for better access, simply undo the nuts securing the ends to extract the old drop link and insert the new one.
