To reset the service light on the Mazda 3, turn on the instrument panel so that you can navigate within the menu that will appear on the display at the centre of the dashboard: you will need to scroll and confirm using the circular knob located in this position. At this point, select "Information" and "Vehicle status monitor": then proceed by selecting "Vehicle maintenance settings" and finally "Reset oil change distance" to ensure the light disappears. The instrument panel can then be completely turned off.
