In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the license plate light bulbs on a Mazda CX-9, a very simple and quick operation. First, make sure the key is not inserted, then open the trunk and locate the light in question.

Next, insert a flathead screwdriver into the inner slot of the lens, pry it out, and detach it from the housing. At this point, remove the old bulb, insert a replacement preferably of the LED type, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.

Repeat the operation on the opposite light if necessary.
