How to Replace the Key Fob Battery of a Mercedes M-Class

How do you change the key fob battery for your Mercedes M-Class? This video shows in detail how to do it. Take your ignition remote and extract the metal key inside. Once the metal key is removed, insert it into the groove of the plastic remote and press inwards. When you hear a click, the cover will be open. Use a small screwdriver to remove the worn battery and take a new one of the same type, then replace it. Refit the cover on your remote by pressing on the key case until you hear the locking click. Check that the key functions correctly.
