This guide explains the steps you need to follow to replace the button battery in your Mercedes-Benz C-Class W206 key. First, make sure you have a new CR2032 battery. Then, locate the button on the back of the key and press it. At the same time, pull out the physical emergency key and use a flathead screwdriver to remove the cover.

Once you have done this, also remove the battery holder cap and replace the old battery with the new one.
