Follow this video to learn how to remove the original stereo from a Mercedes GL-Class? To start: use a plastic lever to remove the trim panel of the ventilation control buttons, then, with a screwdriver, unscrew the securing screws of the metal tabs located on the sides of the stereo until it disengages from the dashboard. Now, pull the stereo out of the dashboard, disconnect the various power connectors located at the rear and the antenna reception cable. Extract the stereo from the central console. To reassemble the various disassembled parts, proceed in reverse order.
