Removing the Car Radio

Model: Mercedes Gl MK 1, X164 - Years 2006-2012

To install a new car radio, you first need to remove the old one. Insert two tools into the sides of the radio to be replaced to release the internal clips and pull it towards you. Once this is done, disconnect the radio connectors by pulling them outwards. Next, detach the antenna, which is a black cylindrical connector. For installation, connect the connectors to the new radio and, of course, reconnect the antenna; otherwise, you won't receive a signal.
