How to Replace the Front Wishbone

Model: Mercedes Gl MK 1, X164 - Years 2006-2012

Place the car on a ramp and lift it to a comfortable working height. Remove the wheel corresponding to the wishbone you are replacing. Locate the position of the wishbone and, using the appropriate spanners, undo the two bolts that secure it to the axle and the wheel. Remove the wishbone and take the new one. Install it in position by reversing the steps you just followed. Refit the wheel and lower the car from the ramp. The car shown in the maintenance operation is a Mercedes GL.

While driving, if you notice the tyre pressure warning light coming on, first check the actual inflation pressure of the tyres and, if necessary, restore the pressures recommended by the manufacturer.
