How to disassemble the front headlight on a Mercedes E-Class W211

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

Open the hood of your Mercedes E-Class. Remove the plastic protective cap of the front headlight bulb. Unscrew the headlight control unit along with the bracket. Disconnect the electrical connector of the control unit. Once you have done this, replace the old bulb with a new one of the correct type. For example, if you are using a halogen bulb, make sure it has an H7 fitting. Reassemble everything following the reverse procedure of disassembly. Pay attention to the position of the fitting and alignment of the new bulb: make sure the fitting position of the bulb is correct and align the new bulb properly. Wear gloves to avoid touching the bulb with your hands and causing damage. Check the proper functioning of the front headlights.
