How do you reset the Service indicator light on the Mercedes B-Class?

The Service indicator that appears on the instrument panel of the Mercedes Class B can be reset by turning on the instrument panel, turning the appropriate key inside the ignition switch: once the instrument panel is turned on, you can press the button on the left side of the panel to access the menu and then navigate inside it with the arrows on the left side of the steering wheel. You will need to select the "Service" option and then "Reset": this will display a confirmation message, to which you must respond with "Yes" in order to completely reset the indicator.
