Disassembly and Repair of Remote Key

Detailed instructions - The malfunction of the remote key is often due to a disconnection on the electronic board of the remote itself, which must simply be restored.
Additionally, since you need to completely disassemble the key, you can take the opportunity to replace the remote covers, which are easily available in the aftermarket (usually the key or "blade" is also provided, which will need to be programmed later).
The first step is to remove the battery compartment cover and take out the two batteries (check their voltage with a tester and replace them if necessary). Next, separate the two halves of the remote, being careful with the plastic pin and the spring present.
Then, extract the electronic circuit, check the integrity of the micro switch, and re-solder the battery support bracket (the part that extends from the circuit).
At this point, insert the batteries and test the remote's functionality before reassembling it.
Then, reposition the electronic circuit in its respective shell, place the plastic pin in the key (there is only one mounting position that allows the pin's tooth to align with the groove on the key), then insert the spring into the pin so that it hooks at the bottom and finally attach the other end to the cover and press fit the two halves together.
Check the spring action of the key, insert the batteries and the cover, and test the remote's functionality.
