How do you reset the air conditioner of the Mercedes C-Class?

In order to reset the air conditioning system of the Mercedes C-Class, you need to insert the ignition key into the slot, turn it and start the engine: once the engine is running, you can press and hold the buttons for defrosting the windshield and for air recirculation. After holding these buttons for a few seconds, you will see the lights on these buttons start flashing: at this point, you can release the buttons and the reset will be completed when the lights become steady.
