Replacing the battery of the remote control for a Mercedes Class A, Class B, and Class C vehicle follows a few simple and quick steps that can be done independently. To replace the battery, we need to get a CR2032 model battery and a flat-head screwdriver. We start by pressing the top of the remote control to remove the metal key inside. We then continue by removing the cover of the remote control and inserting the key or screwdriver into the side of the remote control to extract the battery holder. We remove and insert the new battery and finish by closing the cover of the remote control and inserting the key inside.
