How do you reset the air conditioning system of the Mercedes E-Class?

The air conditioner installed on the Mercedes E-Class can be reset by turning on the instrument panel and then inserting the ignition key into its slot: in this way, once the panel is activated, it will be possible to hold down the REST and 0 buttons located on the central dashboard panel. By holding down both buttons, you will notice that the air conditioner settings will be restored to their default settings; once the reset procedure is complete, you can turn off the panel again.
