You can reset the climate control on the Mercedes E-Class by first turning on the ignition by inserting the key into the ignition switch: this way, once the ignition is activated, you can press and hold the REST and 0 buttons located on the central dashboard panel. While holding down the buttons, you will notice that the climate control settings will be restored to their initial state; now, after the reset procedure is complete, you can turn off the ignition again by removing the key from the switch.
