How do you replace the dead battery in a Mercedes C-Class key fob? Let's see in detail how to do it: take your ignition key fob and remove the metal key. Insert a small screwdriver into the slot of the plastic fob and pry it open. Once the fob is open, use a small screwdriver to remove the battery and replace it with a new one of the same type.
