How to clean the EGR valve of the Mercedes A-Class

In this video we can see how to clean the EGR valve of a Mercedes Class A W176: we start by removing the cover of the engine block, and identify where the valve is located, which is located right on the top of the engine. To remove it we need to remove the plug and the two fixing bolts, as shown by the youtuber. One of the two bolts is in a rather hidden position, so we will have to at least move the air intake pipe; in any case it will have to be removed with a 10mm socket; it will not be easy to remove it, but it is normal. If we want to clean the seat we will have to do it with a vacuum cleaner, using a lot of care. The valve must be cleaned carefully, using Svitol or WD-40, and we can proceed with the reassembly in reverse.
