To reset the "Service" indicator on a Mercedes E-Class, start by turning on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Then, use the multifunction buttons on the steering wheel to access the car's menu.

Press the "Home" button to enter the main menu and, using the directional arrows, navigate to the "Maintenance" section. Select the reset option and follow the instructions that appear on the display.
