When purchasing a canister of AdBlue, it is essential to pay attention to several specifications that guarantee the quality of the product, first of all compliance with ISO 22241 regulations, which guarantee the purity and quality of the product: it must also comply with current European regulations on emissions and safety. Check that the composition corresponds to this formula: high purity urea 32.5% and demineralized water 67.5%. The canister must be made of resistant materials compatible with AdBlue, usually HDPE (high density polyethylene). The canister must be intact and equipped with a sealing cap to prevent leaks and contamination: it must have been stored in a cool and dry place; absolutely avoid canisters that have been kept in the sun. Check the production and expiration dates, and avoid canisters that do not show these dates. They must also include information about the manufacturer, production batch, and safety warnings. The packaging must include a spout for pouring into the tank. Beware of products with excessively low prices or from unreliable sources, as they may be of inferior quality and damage our car.
