How to replace the air filter of the Mercedes Vito W638

Let's see how to change the air filter on a Mercedes Vito W638: the filter is located in a black plastic box on the right side of the engine compartment; there is often a sensor on the air intake; disconnect it by pressing on the clip and gently pulling it away. The cover is secured with clips and, depending on the year of manufacture, also with two cross screws; then lift the cover, remove the old filter, clean the box from dust and residue, insert the new filter: the rubber gasket must adhere perfectly to the edge of the box. Reposition the cover of the box, if present screw back the screws, reconnect the sensor and close the hood.
