How to replace the pollen filter on the Mercedes Vito W638

Model: Mercedes Vito W638, MK 1 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Cabin air filter

On the Mercedes Vito W638, access the pollen filter by moving the central glove compartment, which is a snap-in module; this is not the glove compartment located in front of the passenger. Release the glove compartment by pressing the side catches (there are no screws, just pull once the catches are out of their housings). Pull the glove compartment towards the cabin and behind it, you will find the filter cover; unclip the cover and remove the old filter. Clean the container thoroughly of dust and debris and insert the new filter, paying attention to the installation direction. Close the cover, snap the compartment back in, shut it, and you are done.
