How to replace the battery in a Mercedes Class B key remote? Take your remote and slide the button to release the metal key; Using a screwdriver, push the button inside. Apply pressure until the battery holder separates; remove the battery holder, replace the old battery with a new one of the same size and voltage using a screwdriver. Refit the cover with the buttons by pressing on the key remote until you hear it click into place. Finally, insert the metal key back into the remote. Check the remote's proper functioning.
